How to live a life that has meaning?

There is no doubt in my mind that everyone born into this world has a unique purpose because we all are unique. I wish more people would feel that way about themselves. I wish more people would follow their purpose, because there is nothing more beautiful. To me it’s always funny when people tell me, oh you are a psychologist that means you can read people. When in fact it’s the other way around. Because of my sensitive and observant nature, I became a psychologist. It’s my purpose, it always has been. Even before I studied psychology. I have met quite a few people that have admitted to me, that being a therapist is not for them. Also they studied, also they worked in the field, something just didn't feel right. It is just not their purpose. In my experience, good therapists are born. There are things you just cannot teach, like:
Empathy
Putting your Patients before your ego
Being ok to not be "liked"
Healing as the higher goal
having a deep understanding of truth and love.
And the most important of them all; being able to surrender to something far greater than the idea of being a psychologist.
Not everyone is ready for their purpose to reveal itself, but we can learn to be ready..
So, why is it so hard for some of us to find purpose and meaning?
Because finding your purpose requires to feel yourself and most people live as an idea inside their heads. When you ask them how they feel, they will explain the idea of a feeling instead of the experience in their body and soul.
This is happening to some of us, because we live in a society that is all about brain and thinking, instead of heart and feeling.
The heart gives meaning to our lives, the brain is the operating system to get us there. For most it’s the other way around and the heart just gets ignored. That's why some feel stuck without purpose.
In order to feel yourself learn to connect to your heart.
That’s exactly where my purpose comes in.
